Bhandara is the district headquarters of Bhandara district in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, known for rice production and as an administrative centre for surrounding areas. Fertility care does not have to mean relocating to a city. The journey is arranged so most of your visits are consultations and scans, with the cycle itself handled at the Chandrapur centre:
Bhandara has no local ART-registered embryology lab. The nearest in-house government-registered lab is at Aansh's Chandrapur centre 180 km away.

Getting to the Chandrapur centre from Bhandara
The Chandrapur centre is about 180 km (around 4 hr by road) from Bhandara. Landmarks near our local points of contact include the Bhandara Bus Stand, Bhandara District Collectorate and the area near Wainganga river / Gaimukh. Railhead: Bhandara Road Railway Station (BRD); connections via Nagpur or to Chandrapur/Ballarshah rail hub.
- MSRTC bus: MSRTC buses from Bhandara bus stand to Chandrapur, several daily via district routes. Approx 4-5 hr, ₹250-450.
- Train: Services from Bhandara Road Railway Station (BRD); onward connections via Nagpur or direct to Chandrapur/Ballarshah hub. Approx 4-6 hr, ₹150-400.
- Self-drive / taxi: 180 km via NH and state highways; direct drop at Arjun Tower, Ambedkar Square, Chandrapur. Approx 4 hr, ₹2800-4500 (taxi share).
Because the distance is longer, most Bhandara patients travel only on the days a procedure or key scan is scheduled. We plan these in advance so you are not making unnecessary trips. Patients also come from feeder areas including Tumsar, Pauni, Tirora, Mohadi and Sakoli.
