Metro-grade AI for IVF — brought to Vidarbha.
Aansh Hospital & IVF Center is the first fertility centre in Central India to deploy Garbha.ai — an AI suite that helps our embryology team assess embryos, eggs and sperm more objectively. It supports our specialists; it never replaces them.

AI that gives our embryologist an objective second opinion
Embryo grading has traditionally relied on the trained human eye. It works — but it can be subjective, and two embryologists can score the same embryo differently. Garbha.ai is an Indian artificial-intelligence platform, built for IVF laboratories, that analyses images of embryos, eggs and sperm to produce a consistent, objective score alongside the embryologist’s own assessment.
At Aansh, that assessment is led by our Senior Clinical Embryologist Aayush Agarwal, Ph.D., with treatment decisions made by Dr. Shweta Agarwal. The AI adds a data-driven perspective — it does not diagnose, and it does not decide. It augments expertise; it does not replace it.
Garbha.ai reports that its embryo-quality-prediction model reaches 94% accuracy in its own internal testing. That figure describes how well the model classifies embryo images against Garbha.ai’s labelled dataset — it is not a pregnancy rate and not a guarantee of success. We share it as the technology provider’s stated figure, attributed to them. About Garbha.ai →
Six AI modules across the IVF journey
EmbryoScore
AI analysis of time-lapse embryo images to help rank which embryos have the best development pattern — non-invasive, and used alongside our embryologist’s own grading.
Oocyte assessment
Image-based assessment of egg maturity and quality (zona, cytoplasm, polar body) to support selection during IVF/ICSI.
Sperm assessment
AI-supported analysis of sperm morphology, motility and DNA-integrity indicators to help selection for ICSI.
Endometrial receptivity (ERA)
Ultrasound-image analysis intended to help estimate the implantation window. Garbha.ai’s ERA is imaging-based; it is not the genomic biopsy ERA test.
Pharmacogenomics (PGx)
A genotyping panel intended to help personalise hormone/stimulation planning based on genes linked to ovarian response.
Smart IVF analytics
A dashboard and patient-communication layer across the treatment cycle — not a diagnostic tool.
Availability of individual modules is decided case by case by your treating specialist, based on your clinical situation. Not every module is relevant to every patient.
Non-invasive, image-based, and always alongside a human
Routine time-lapse imaging
Embryos are photographed during normal incubation. The AI reads only these existing images — nothing extra is done to the embryo, and it is never touched or biopsied for the score.
Objective, standardised score
The model analyses how the embryo divides and develops from day 1 to the blastocyst stage, and produces a consistent score — reducing the subjectivity of eye-only grading.
Embryologist makes the call
Our embryologist weighs the AI score against their own assessment and your clinical picture. The final selection is a human decision, supported by data.
Advanced fertility technology — without leaving Vidarbha
For years, couples across Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Yavatmal, Wardha and the wider Vidarbha belt travelled to Nagpur, Pune or Mumbai to reach the newest fertility technology. Bringing Garbha.ai to Chandrapur is part of our commitment to change that — to deliver the same standard of care close to home.
“Geography should never limit a patient’s access to world-class medical science. Our partnership with Garbha.ai ensures that families in Vidarbha no longer need to travel to a metro for advanced care.” — Dr. Shweta Agarwal, Medical Director

What we can — and can’t — claim
Garbha.ai states that its EmbryoScore tool has received a licence from India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), and it was recognised at the 32nd HYSEA National Summit & Awards 2025 (a technology-industry award). We share these as the provider’s own statements.
We believe in being straight with patients, so a few honest points: the technology’s reported accuracy figure is a model-testing metric, not a clinical pregnancy rate. Broad, independent, peer-reviewed outcome studies for this specific tool are still developing. And AI-assisted selection — however promising — cannot guarantee a pregnancy. What it can do is help our team make more objective, consistent embryo-selection decisions. That is exactly how we use it, and no more than that.
